Why This Matters
Section titled “Why This Matters”Most local businesses survive on referrals and word of mouth. That works — until it doesn’t. One slow season, one big competitor moving in, one retirement of the guy who used to send you all the work, and suddenly you’re scrambling. You’ve built a business that depends on things you can’t control.
What we’re building together is the thing you can control: a local online presence that generates leads whether you’re on the job site, on vacation, or asleep. When someone in your area searches for what you do, you show up. This is infrastructure — the digital version of owning your building instead of renting it.
This takes time. The businesses that win in local search are the ones that commit to the long game while their competitors chase shortcuts, bounce between agencies every six months, or quit after 90 days because they didn’t get instant results. The short-term patience is what creates the long-term freedom — a steady pipeline of qualified leads that isn’t dependent on any single referral source, ad platform, or market condition.
That long-term thinking is exactly what separates the businesses that plateau from the ones that scale.
Purpose of This Agreement
Section titled “Purpose of This Agreement”This agreement outlines the terms, scope, deliverables, and mutual expectations for our local SEO growth partnership. This is not a binding legal contract. It is a good-faith understanding between Tekton Growth and the client to ensure alignment, transparency, and accountability from both sides.
Our goal is simple: build a local online presence that becomes a foundational asset for your business — one that consistently generates qualified leads, reduces your dependence on any single source of work, and gives you the freedom to grow on your terms.

What We Need From You
Section titled “What We Need From You”Our results depend on a partnership. Here is what we need from you to deliver the best possible outcome:
| Your Responsibility | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Complete onboarding form within 5 business days | Delays here delay everything else |
| Provide all requested credentials and access | We can’t optimize what we can’t access |
| Send 2–3 project photos monthly | Fresh photos boost your GBP visibility |
| Actively request reviews (5+ per month goal) | Reviews are the #1 local ranking factor you control |

| Be honest about results and concerns | We can’t fix what we don’t know about |
Communication & Reporting
Section titled “Communication & Reporting”All project communication happens through Task Tracker, your client portal. This is where you will:
- View your project status and task progress
- Message your team with questions or updates
- Upload photos, files, and credentials
- Access your monthly reports
Your primary point of contact is your Client Success Manager (CSM). They manage your account, coordinate with the rest of the team, and are your go-to for any questions or concerns.
Reporting schedule:
- Monthly: SEO performance report with rank tracking, traffic, and key metrics
- Quarterly: Strategy review and content gap analysis
- As needed: Updates on major milestones (site launch, GBP verification, etc.)
Timeline Expectations
Section titled “Timeline Expectations”SEO is not a switch you flip — it’s a foundation you build. The work we do in months 1–3 is what makes months 6–12 possible. Every page we create, every citation we build, every optimization we make compounds over time. Your competitors who started six months before you have six months of compounding on you. The ones who quit after three months gave all of that back.
The businesses that commit to this process and push through the early months — when the work is happening but the results haven’t fully materialized yet — are the ones that end up dominating their local market. That patience is your competitive advantage.
Here is a realistic timeline for what to expect:
| Timeframe | What to Expect |
|---|---|
| Month 1 | Foundation: Onboarding, GBP optimization, audit, 30/60/90 plan, site build started (Scope B) |
| Months 2–3 | Build-out: Core SEO work, content creation, citations, schema, technical improvements |
| Months 3–6 | Traction: Initial ranking movement, increased GBP visibility, early lead generation |
| Months 6–12 | Growth: Consistent ranking improvements, steady lead flow, ROI becomes clear |
| Month 12+ | Scale: Full audit, identify new opportunities, expand services/areas, plan year two |
Most clients begin seeing meaningful movement in months 3–6. Competitive markets may take longer. We will keep you informed every step of the way and will never leave you guessing about what we are working on or why. The goal is not just short-term leads — it’s building an asset that provides consistent, predictable lead flow for years to come.
Payment Terms
Section titled “Payment Terms”- Payment is processed automatically via Stripe on the same date each month
- Your first payment initiates the onboarding process and triggers your welcome email
- There is no long-term contract or lock-in period
- Either party may end the engagement with 30 days written notice
- If you cancel, all work completed to date remains yours (website, content, GBP optimizations)
- Refunds are not provided for work already completed in the current billing cycle
What This Agreement Is Not
Section titled “What This Agreement Is Not”This is not a guarantee of specific rankings, traffic numbers, or lead volume. No honest SEO provider can guarantee specific positions on Google because rankings are influenced by hundreds of factors outside anyone’s control, including Google’s own algorithm changes, competitor behavior, and market conditions. Anyone who guarantees you a #1 ranking is either lying or doesn’t understand how search works.
What we do guarantee is consistent, strategic effort applied to your local SEO presence every single month, full transparency into what we are doing and why, and a team that genuinely cares about your growth.
What we’re building together is not a campaign with an end date. It’s a permanent piece of your business infrastructure — the same way your truck, your tools, or your storefront are. The difference is that this asset works for you 24/7, doesn’t call in sick, and gets stronger the longer you invest in it. The businesses that treat their online presence this way are the ones their competitors can’t catch.
Acknowledgment
Section titled “Acknowledgment”By signing below, both parties acknowledge they have read and understand the terms, scope, and expectations outlined in this agreement.
